What is your greatest financial win? Getting back into property as a single full-time working mum with no child support after losing everything through a divorce.

What is your worst financial mistake? Thinking I was being supportive of my first husband by selling all our investment properties to buy into a business for him. I could have been supportive without putting myself into a position where we could lose everything. I now look back and see it as an expensive but worthwhile investment in my financial education.

What advice do you have for others? Delayed gratification and living below your means. Invest in relationships and people. When you are surrounded by great relationships, you will always be rich.

What is the point of having a net worth above $1,000,000. What does it mean to you? Not much. It means we have less financial stress than others, but it is just a tool.
