What is your greatest financial win? Buying a bare lifestyle block, building a house on it and then selling it when the market moved so we could downsize and live mortgage-free.

What is your worst financial mistake? Buying dumb sh!t... Nothing too major just buying toys that I didn't need and didn't really even want.

Paying way too much insurance by just accepting what I was told by brokers.

What advice do you have for others? Don't buy dumb sh!t.

Educate yourself.

Automate EVERYTHING.

Be consistent with the small things.

Discipline = Freedom.

What is the point of having a net worth above $1,000,000. What does it mean to you? It gives me the freedom to NOT have to do the things I really don't want to do.

At any stage, not only can I choose to do what I want to do, but no one can put me in a position of having to do something I don't want to do.

Finish these sentences:

If you want to build wealth do this… Automate everything so that you don't even have to think about it. Time is your best friend so set everything and then forget it. Your wealth will grow amazingly quickly.

Actively set your expectations, don't let the Joneses set them for you. Spend way less than you earn and save the rest where you can't touch it.

If you want to build wealth avoid doing this… Spending money you don't have on things you don't need.

If these questions don’t adequately tell your story, feel free to briefly elaborate here: After first hearing your podcast and hearing of this Survey, I've wanted to be able to fill it in. Some long term travel overseas delayed this by a while, but I'm stoked to finally be able to fill it in and put that 6 figure number up the top!
